The Read-A-Thon will consist of 2 easy steps!

  1. REaD

Students will track minutes read each week of the fundraiser.

Minutes can be submitted here each Friday for the previous week.

Students who submit minutes on Friday will receive a participation prize the following week.See below for other reading prizes!

Students will donate money, or have money donated in their name. Funds will go towards fun improvements at our new campus!
Student’s will earn prizes based on the total amount of donations they bring in. Donations must be received by November 14.

If each student helps raise $50, we will meet our campus goal!

2. Donate!

Prizes can be earned in 2 ways!

Participation: ANY student who submits minutes for the week will earn a trip to the canteen!

Weekly Prizes:
Grammar: The TOP Grammar reader will earn a reward card to In&Out or Raising Canes

Logic & Rhetoric: For every 60 minutes read, the student’s name will be added to a weekly drawing for a gift card to Starbucks, Sonic, and Fat Straws. Each week there will be 3 Logic and 3 Rhetoric winners.

Grade Prizes:
Grade levels in each school (Grammar, Logic & Rhetoric) will be ranked by most minutes read each week.
At the end of the Read-A-Thon, the overall TOP grade from each school will receive a prize! Grades will be split M/W and T/TH to increase the fun!

  • A total of $50 raised will earn the student a spirit day with jeans!

  • A total of $100 raised will earn the student a spirt day with jeans PLUS a pizza party at lunch!

  • A total of $500 raised will earn the student a spirit day with jeans, a pizza party at lunch, AND a $50 gift card!
